Hi there!

Hi there!

First of all, what a journey has it been from the conception of Fragment Crafting, to today with my shop open and orders coming in. I've had so much support from The Prince's Trust, friends, family, and Natwest in building my new empire from the ground up.

The first piece of news: I was successful in my crowdfunder! I had a total of 16 supporters and managed to raise £700 for the equipment costs of my business. With this money I was able to purchase my printer, buy materials, and pay for the domain of my website as well as it's business account. I'm so grateful for the support and love I've had from friends and family, and even some strangers in my project. It means the world, and I couldn't have done it alone.

Another piece of news is that I was successful in my launch interview with The Prince's Trust! They approved my business plan and idea, loved my pitch, and granted me some funding to help toward stock and advertisement with the business. I'll be able to advertise my website online now, buy new business cards and print some posters for my local area. All to hopefully increase business and get my name out there! I've also been assigned a business mentor and I'm so excited to be able to work with them in making my business a success.

I completed my first commission for a lovely gentleman named Clive who asked I paint him a Rhino on canvas in different colours. I was super excited to receive this commission as it was the first once I'd taken since the grand opening of my website on September 1st. It was a lovely little A4 canvas acrylic painting, and I was even granted the opportunity to deliver it to him in person and see his reaction upon opening it. What a lovely thing to see! Thank you, Clive, for your support and appreciation, I hope to paint many more things for you in the future!

And that's pretty much the gist of what's been going on. I've been very busy making new art, sticker designs and even some necklaces that will soon be appearing on the website. Keep your eyes peeled for October's new products, we're getting spooky!

As always thank you so much for your support, and I wish you a lovely day ahead.

Em x
